About this machine
Also known as a drum press or barrel flattener. It uses hydraulic pressure to flatten metal drums and barrels of up to 220 litres, so empties take up a fraction of the space and are cheaper to store and move as scrap.
It handles up to 60–70 drums an hour and, like our other vertical balers, is operated by one person.

- Liquid drainage channel to collect residual liquid from drums
- Metal blocker to position the drum centrally in the chamber
- Spikes on the platen to puncture drums and release trapped air, for more efficient and safer crushing
