About this machine
A heavy-duty vertical baler for high-rebound material: tyres. It has the force to overcome the rubber's rebound and press tyres into dense bales, saving storage and transport space. As an example, the SVB2-TB-1000 Standard takes 9 strokes to make a bale of around 120–140 car tyres, weighing up to 1200 kg, at a compression ratio of about 12:1.
Tyre bales are also used as a construction material in road foundations, embankment fill, drainage layers, landscaping and other civil engineering work.
Optimised versions add a faster cycle (39 seconds instead of 49 on the TB-1000), double oil filtration and high-efficiency air cooling for the hydraulics, for longer component life and less maintenance.
Features
- Chain bale ejector
- Two split platens with a movable link, protecting the platens from uneven loading
- Retractable retainer claws to stop compacted tyres springing back
- Hydraulic chamber doors for safe, easy opening and closing
- Front and back chamber doors for easy strapping and bale ejection
Typical materials
Car tyres, light and heavy truck tyres, bicycle tyres and motorcycle tyres.
